- Professional education in metal construction or locksmithing, skill and technical understanding is required.
- Reliability, ability to work in a team environment and the ability to read technical drawings are also important.
- Duties include fabricating and erecting metal structures, welding and machining metal parts, and performing repair and maintenance work.
- Must also inspect and adjust parts according to blueprints and specifications.
